The house, nestling around an old weeping oak, was reduced to familiar "house" forms. A simple brick wall addresses the street with a familiar voice. As the design pulls away from the street, the materials evolve from conventional brick and siding to crisp glass and concrete panels.
The interior is open and bright. The Living Room and Kitchen are separated by a low partition. The space flows around and above; morning and afternoon light penetrates both spaces.
